Perfect location in the south shore poipu area. The specific room’s access to the front office and the amenities across the street was great.

Extremely easy. Knowing where to go/where my suite was tricky for about 30 seconds, and otherwise very smooth. An unexpected surprise was the quality of the BnB portion of our stay -- every morning by 8AM there was a unique, locally-sourced breakfast and fresh coffee waiting for us right next to our bedroom. Property was gorgeous and within walking distance to poipu beach.
What else... Doing a load of laundry was easy, and Pete was very hands-off/friendly.

Hale Pua Villa is a lovely little studio near the beach. It has a great location with charming Hawaiian welcome. It has a nice little kitchenette and a comfortable bed.

Although weather was windy and rainy the first few days, it then got sunny and was lovely. A nice beach (Poipu) is very close (loved the sea turtles resting in the sand!) Kalapaki Joe's Happy Hour is a "must do"!! Advertised as "the best Happy Hour" in Hawaii, and we'd have to agree!! Wish biking had been better--bike lanes are very narrow and on quite busy roads.

Koloa and the Kiahuna Plantation development is wonderful.
Koloa and the Kiahuna Plantation development is wonderful. the room we rented was terrible.
Great restaurants in the area: Beach House, Brenecke's, Paco's tacos, .
Stevenson's Library, Eating House, and Merrimans were all great
Plenty of activities - high speed raft, ditch tubing, ATV's, hiking in Waimea. lots of shops.

We had a great stay in the Koloa area and would highly recommend it if you are visiting Kauai. Poipu Beach is a great place to spend a day relaxing, but there are other activities close by if that is your inclination. We had a great tour of the Na Pali coast on a sail/snorkel cruise with Capt. Andy's Boat Tours, and were also in close driving distance to towns of Hanapepe and Waimea for local color on the southern and western parts of the island. The Allerton and McBryde Botanical Gardens was also worth the visit. A bit of a longer drive is to the Polihale State Park to a most beautiful and isolated golden sand beach - the last 4 miles or so are on a bit of a bumpy dirt road that keeps the crowds down, but well worth the visit. There are many dining choices in the Koloa area - we enjoyed Keoka's Paradise in the Poipu Shopping Village and Brennecke's at Poipu Beach for casual dining, and there were many other choices at the resorts in the area. Finally, if you like to snorkel, Lawai Beach is the place to go for the variety of fish. The shore is a bit rocky so it is a little bit of effort to get it, but once in the water it had the best snorkeling on the island, including the beaches on the northern part of the island.

The unit itself was contemporary and very nice!
The unit itself was contemporary and very nice! Beautiful view and sound of waves crashing on rocks below. Hated the key retrieval and lock. We had to sleep in our car the first night due to poor communication from Vacasa. We purchased our own groceries. The roads are a bit confusing because there are few street signs. But, we would stay here again!

Koloa is beautiful and quiet, with public efforts to keep it that way. In winter, weather is variable but the South Shore is most dependable and we hit great weather for hikes and beaches. Wide range of restaurant prices and quality. Traffic can be a problem on other parts of the island.

We stayed in the Villas and we were able to make our meals.
We stayed in the Villas and we were able to make our meals. The Villas have nice blenders in them, we were able to make smoothies with fresh fruit. The pool is amazing, there are actually several pools to go to, all of them are great. There are several hot tubs, which we used every night. The beach, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The resort has a complimentary shuttle service which we used on a daily basis, very handy. We were a party of 21 and we would ALL stay here again!
We stayed at the Sheraton for one night because we simply couldn’t stay at our other hotel for one night longer. The Sheraton was everything the other hotel was not - luxury, airy, clean and filled with amenities. We didn’t leave the resort for the 24 hours we were there because it has fantastic access to the beach, a beach bar and a pool. We really liked having a patio to sit and relax on during the evenings. Would have liked to have stayed there longer but it was just so expensive.
Unit was clean, comfortable, it had a warm feeling, not overly modernized or decorated, simple and delightful, it had a feeling of home and not a overpriced hotel over styled hotel room. Just amazing. : )
I enjoyed everything. The unit, the grounds, staff, weather and much more. The unit was fully stocked with beach equipment, games, kitchenware, tvs and internet. Though there were two tvs, I found the unit to relaxing to watch anything.
Great property, really enjoyed the location and the visit overall. Beautiful setting, easily access many other attractions on Hawaii. Concierge desk (I talked to two people) was oustanding. They really knew their stuff and gave great recommendations for what to do on the island. The pool was great, too, and had a pretty good happy hour at the pool bar! The water filtration stand was a nice bonus.
Pool was great for kids and never too crowded. The loungers by the pool were a little uncomfortable (needed more padding). We ate at HoloHolo several times and the food was great but hotel could use more than one option. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were great and very friendly. The property was well maintained and clean.
The Kiahuna Plantation property was beautiful to wake up to. We had a balcony view of the green lawn and beyond were able to see the ocean. The separation of unit clusters was appreciated. The grounds beautiful. Love the closeness to the beach and other nearby resorts and malls. ‘Liked the convenience of the laundry facility.
The aesthetic of the Kauaii island was perfectly captured. Indoors and out.
The area was a great place to paint.
The staff was welcoming and kind. I had trouble with a credit card, and they were patient and helpful.
Terrace was large and very private.
Beach was close by.
Clean, nice accommodation in a very new development near Poipu Beach. Very comfortable and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. The view from the small porch was quite nice for sunsets and watching people play golf.
Great location! Left all the windows and doors open and got the best Hawaiian breeze filling the property. We used many of the appliances and they all worked great. Just a short walk to the sea edge and watched beautiful sunsets.
The location was perfect! Poipu and Brennecke beaches are an easy walk and gorgeous. The condo was a great base for heading north to hike the NaPali Coast trail and heading west to hike Wiamea Canyon
This was a great location near Poipu Beach and many other amenities. Very well kept complex with a nice pool and walking path. The unit is nicely remodeled and kept very clean.
The hotel pools were good as well as the Hologrill restaurant. The villas were a good size and comfortable. The staff at check in were great and really helpful and friendly.
